Common Questions
Parent Coaches provide you with tools and techniques designed for the healthy relationship and development of your child in individual sessions that are structured to meet your parenting goals. This may include education about child development, behavior management, communication skill building, and the successful implementation of positive strategies to meet your parenting needs.
During each parent coaching session you will be provided a judgment free space to discuss all the parenting challenges you are facing.
Throughout the session you will be asked questions and work to create a plan to address current issues using positive parenting strategies. As you put these parenting tools into action, your Parenting Coach will adjust or build upon techniques based on your child’s response.
Parent coaching sessions are 55 minutes in length.
Sessions typically takes place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Forming a solid relationship and understanding of how to help is key to success. Because of this, we start out working with coaching clients on a weekly basis for at least the first 2-3 consecutive sessions before revisiting the session frequency.
All sessions with a parenting coach are billed per session (55 minutes) at the time of each session. We accept debit and credit cards. The fee is $175 per session.
Please note that insurance does not cover coaching services.
