School-Based Services

Kids That Cope school-based programs use data-driven practices to help support your entire school community

Kids that Cope was formed by certified professional school counselors working on the frontline of education using the most up-to-date neuroscience research and best practices in social-emotional learning. We understand that each school is unique and school counseling programs should be tailored to meet the needs of all students. Our service offerings include:

Virtual School Counseling Services: Kids that Cope school counselors will be matched with schools based on availability and need. Once assigned, our counselors will work with the school to create a custom service plan. Schools will be billed based on the scope of work and the agreed-upon hourly service rate.

Social-emotional learning: Kids that Cope offers comprehensive SEL program options for students in pre-K through high school. Each grade-level program includes a variety of engaging lessons designed specifically to address the developmental milestones of that age group. All lessons are aligned to one or more of the CASEL Core Competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Lessons can be delivered by our counselors or school staff can be trained to deliver the curriculum.

Professional Development Programs: Kids That Cope professional development programs use data-driven practices to help support your entire school community. We will meet the unique needs of your teachers and staff through customized, highly engaging, and actionable workshops and presentations. Each offering can stand alone or be combined with others for a full day or multi-day training. Sessions are offered in-person and
virtually.
